Fiji is likely to receive around 100,000 visitors in June and July according to Tourism Fiji CEO Brent Hill.

The Reserve Bank of Fiji says in the first four months of the year, 95,586 tourists arrived in Fiji mainly from the main source market of Australia, followed by the United States and New Zealand.

Hill says the first few months after the reopening of the borders were tough in terms of managing and making sure all the key stakeholders were working together.

He says the only way they will be able to go forward is that all stakeholders work together.

Hill adds the good thing is that Fiji is receiving tourists from Australia, NZ and the US and they are excited about getting tourists from the rest of Fiji.
