Police Constable Senoveva Tikoduadua has been commended for her courage and dedication to protecting and serving the country, with Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu and his senior executive team visiting her this morning.
Also present during the visit was PC Tikoduadua's father, Minister for Defence and Veterans Affairs Pio Tikoduadua.
PC Tikoduadua has recently returned from Australia after undergoing extensive medical treatment and rehabilitation for serious injuries she sustained after being hit by a vehicle while on duty in Laqere in April this year.
Since the incident, the young officer has spent several months undergoing medical treatment and rehabilitation in both Fiji and Australia.

Commissioner Tudravu honoured PC Tikoduadua for her courage, adding that the policing profession is unpredictable and carries inherent dangers.
He says the young officer's bravery serves as a reminder that upholding the oath to protect and serve often comes at a great personal cost.
Tudravu says PC Tikoduadua's sacrifice and commitment to service are greatly valued, and he assures her of the organisation's full support throughout her recovery.
