Pre-schoolers at Bright Learners Daycare and Learning Centre are learning that healthy smiles start with good brushing habits, following a dental awareness visit by Daily Care Dental Principal Dentist Dr Mehar Angez.
The children were taught how to brush their teeth correctly and why good dental hygiene is important from an early age.
The children were also shown how to brush their teeth, with each child receiving a toothbrush to help them practise good oral hygiene habits.
The Director of Bright Learners Daycare and Learning Centre Fozmin Khan says teaching children about dental care from an early age helps prevent cavities and keeps their teeth healthy which is why awarenesses like these are essential.
She says parents also play an important role in reinforcing good brushing habits at home.
The Director says the centre is grateful for the visit, which helped the children better understand the importance of taking care of their teeth.
