Serua/Namosi farmers to plant more ginger
More farmers in Serua and Namosi are expected to plant ginger this year after successfully reaching their target during the harvesting season.

Senior Agricultural Officer Sanaila Turaga said for the first time, farmers in this area have been encouraged to plant ginger last year with more than 200 tonnes was harvested this year and have earned good returns from it.

Turaga added with the availability of the markets, farmers have decided to move to ginger farming as they earn good money in a very short time.
