Several overseas media outlets are now reporting that the NZ Police are investigating an alleged plot against Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama however Fijian authorities have not been officially informed.
Permanent Secretary for Information, Sharon Smith-Johns said that all the reports so far have come through the NZ media with no one from the NZ government or NZ Police speaking.
Reports say that Fiji national and former SDL Minister, Rajesh Singh and the homes of other Fiji nationals were raided in Auckland.
Singh has also given an interview to TV3 in NZ.
Smith-Johns said that they will await more information.
