The focus is now on Fiji as a top movie destination as Bollywood movie 3G was shot in the main streets of Suva yesterday.

Top Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh and actress Shonal Chauhan were shooting scenes along Cumming Street and outside Village Six Cinemas.

Hundreds of people crowded at Cumming Street to witness the shooting of the movie.

This is the first time ever for Fiji to be the home of a high level Bollywood movie production.

The crew will also shoot scenes in Nadi town, the market area, Denarau and near some beaches in the coming days.

They will also have a shoot at the sand dunes and Kula Eco Park before finishing off in one of the outer islands.

Film Fiji chief executive officer Florence Swamy said this production will be a major boost for Fiji.
