The Fiji U-17 side has been promised huge incentives for the 2011 Oceania Football Confederation Under 17 playoffs in New Zealand early next month.

Fiji Football Association President Dr. Samshud Dean Sahu Khan said a $50,000 incentive package is allocated with the team given the task to win the U-17 playoffs.

Fiji has been seeded in a tough group along with host New Zealand, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and American Samoa.

Sahu Khan said upon qualifying for the final, players will be entitled to a $1000 each.

Going a step further and winning the overall playoffs will see each player receive $2000.

The OFC U-17 playoffs will be held from 8-19th January at North Harbour Stadium in New Zealand.

The overall winner of the OFC U-17 playoffs will earn a spot in the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico.
