Courageous girl saves fellow student from school blaze

Courageous girl saves fellow student from school blaze
It took a lot of courage for a form 6 student of Levuka Public School but she managed to save the life of a junior student during the school’s dormitory fire last Friday.

The National Fore Authority confirms that the form six student was able to utilize the skills which she learnt from the NFA’s Smokehouse program to assist the young student out of the burning building.

NFA’s Acting CEO, Aseri Radrodro said the student was a very brave girl to have done what she did under those circumstances as she stayed calm and helped the junior student to crawl low in smoke to make their way out of the dormitory.

NFA encourages parents, guardians and teachers to contact them to engage the children in the smoke house program.
