Overseas teams taking part in the Uprising Fiji International 7s next month will get 10 percent discount in air-fares.

This has been confirmed by organizing committee's Randall Kamea.

Kamea said teams like Samoa, Tonga and Manawatu were earlier asking for discounted fares and thus the decision of a 10 percent discount.

So far teams like the Grizzlies from the US, a France development team, the New Caledonia national 7s team, two teams from New Zealand, the Army Green and Police Blue 7s team from Fiji have all confirmed their participation at the two-day meet.

Kamea added they are still awaiting a confirmation from the Samoa Rugby Union, who are expected to make a decision after the Board Meeting today.

The Uprising Fiji International 7s will be held on the 21st and 22nd of next month at the TFL Stadium.

The teams will be battling for the $20,000 prize money.
