Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama wished the national netball team success at the World Netball Championships in Singapore next month.

He made the comments when receiving the team’s iTatau at Government Buildings on behalf of His Excellency Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

The President is on tour of the Middle East.

Commodore Bainimarama urged all players to give their best and to play for the nation.

Fiji Netball team’s toughest opponents, the Silver Ferns will spend the next three days ironing out their preparation where the players will go through what they expect to face in the WNC.

The Fiji team will be departing for Singapore on Saturday and are in the same pool with New Zealand, Wales and Trindad and Tobago at the WNC.
