Navosa Works To Stop Marijuana Growth
A major campaign is currently underway to try and eradicate the cultivation of marijuana in the province of Navosa.

Police Director Uniform Operation Jone Ravulo led a delegation of police officers last Friday to engage meetings with village elders, church leaders and community leaders in Navosa regarding the campaign that will be held at the end of this month in Keiyasi.

Speaking to Fijivillage , village elder Uliko Natadra said marijuana is the source of income for some people and they are worried that many of the marijuana farmers are not aware of the side effects of the drug. He said they hoped to help police weed out these illegal farmers.
