Grog drinking banned in Bua to curb typhoid outbreak

One person has died and 41 people are suffering from typhoid in Bua.
Due to the outbreak the Commissioner Northern has setup a taskforce and imposed public health emergency in villages to prevent further fatalities and the spread of typhoid.
The hot spot is Nawaico village.
Social gatherings and drinking of grog is still prohibited in Bua.
