The South Seas Drifters 7s rugby team will travel to the Darwin 7s this weekend without Jerry Burotu and Lepani Nabuliwaqa.
Both players were named in the side coached by Iliesa Tanivula, which has most of the players who featured in the first leg of the IRB 7s series.
However since Burotu and Nabuliwaqa work for the Fiji Prison and Correctional services, Wardens coach Josateki Savou has confirmed they can only release their players to play if it is a national side.
Meanwhile, Tanivula is in a meeting with manager Tevita Waqairawai to confirm the names of the 12 players that will be part of the Drifters team and also those who will play in the Uprising Fiji International 7s.
Also at 2pm this afternoon the names of the 12 players that will play in the Digicel Matai team for the Uprising 7s will be announced at Kadavu house.
The side will have the services of IRB 7s coach of the year, Gordon Tietjens as technical adviser and 7s wizard Waisale Serevi.
The Uprising Fiji International 7s will kick off on Friday at the TFL Stadium at 9am with Samoa taking on Nadroga.
