General Secretary, Pio Tabaiwalu said a selection committee is yet to be appointed by the Management Board.
He said the selection process is very important as they will look for a credible person to lead SODELPA to the 2014 Elections.
The SODELPA office confirmed that former Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase has been invited to be part of the selection committee and he has agreed.
Qarase cannot take the party leader’s position.
