With only two weeks away from defending the 7's title in New Zealand, the Digicel Fiji Warriors 7's team suffered another loss at the local scene after losing to Namosi by 21-12 at the Fiji TV FRU Lawaqa 7s yesterday.

This is the third tournament that Namosi has won, and Digicel Fiji 7's team manager, Tevita Waqairawai said the side was put to a lot of tests.

Waqairawai added that the national team still had a lot of areas that needs to be ironed out before defending their title in Wellington.

Namosi One had the services of Ilai Tinai, Apisai Naiyabo and Lepani Nabuliwaqa, while Seremaia Burotu, Watisoni Votu and Nikola Matawalu were part of the Warriors team.

The Warriors team will now regroup and prepare for the Uprising Fiji International 7's that kicks off at the TFL Stadium on Friday next week.
