An emergency evacuation team made up of surgeons was able to assist seven labouring mothers deliver their babies in the midst of Cyclone Mick.
Deputy Secretary Public Health, Dr Jo Koroivueti said despite strong winds and heavy rain last night, the mothers were transported from Nausori to CWM Labour Ward.
Dr Koroivueti said the babies and mothers are all well.
