New additions to National Futsal squad

New additions to National Futsal squad

Some new players have been called in to join the National Futsal squad to strengthen some key positions.

It has been confirmed that Ba player, Petero Dauniseka, Labasa goalkeeper Shamal Kumar, striker Ilisoni Logaivou and Nadroga goalkeeper Levi Tawake will be joining the squad.

Top choice goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau has opted to stay out of the team as he is representing Suva in the Digicel Cup competition.

Suva team goal-keeper, Emori Ragata who was eyed to fill the goal-keepers position is injured and will not be fit for some time.

Shamal Kumar, Thomas Costa and Levi Tawake are now eyed for the goal-keepers position.

Meanwhile, the Futsal Committee will name the 15 member squad tomorrow which will represent Fiji in the OFC Futsal Championship at the Vodafone Arena from the 9th to the 14th of next month.
