The Suva High Court today found a 40 year old man of Suva guilty of murdering his partner in February this year.
Three assessors in their verdict today found Nikasio Tupou guilty of one count of murder and following that High court judge, Sitabaram Pillai Thurairaja also told the assessors that after looking at the evidence he also finds the accuse guilty.
Tupou is expected to be sentenced on Thursday.
Tupou is charged with the murder of his 32 year old pregnant partner whom he allegedly struck with a cane knife in the course of a heated argument at Vale ni Manumanu Settlement off Reservoir Road in February this year.
