The Fiji Electricity Authority said that the power blackout experienced throughout Viti Levu yesterday afternoon was due to a fault with their generator set at Wailoa.
Meanwhile, the Water Authority of Fiji also had water supply disrupted from Tailevu to Sigatoka due to the FEA power outage.
Authority spokesperson Maika Nagalu said supply has now been restored to all affected areas as of this morning.
