Fugitive Ratu Tevita Uluilakeba Mara's bench warrant has been extended to July by Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.
He fled to Tonga after being picked up by a Tongan Navy vessel last year.
Mara is charged with making seditious comments.
The case will be called on 19th July this year.
