New Navua Hospital soon to be constructed
Construction work on the new Navua Hospital is expected to start in July this year.

Health Ministry spokesperson, Peni Namotu said the Public Works Department has started ground work on the new Navua hospital and a Chinese contractor is expected to carry out the construction which will take one and a half year's.

The Hospital is funded by the Chinese Government will have approximately 22 beds and the main work will include an outpatient clinic, emergency clinic, medical technical rooms, inpatient rooms, administrative and supporting facilities.

Upon completion, people living in Navua, Namosi and Serua will be able to access high standard of health and medical facility.
