195 Dengue fever cases have been recorded so far this year.
According to the Ministry of Health statistics 167 Dengue cases have been recorded in the Central division, 28 cases have been recorded in the West while no cases have been recorded yet for the North.
These statistics are from the 1st until the 6th of this month.
The ministry continues to remind the public that insecticide spraying only kills flying mosquitoes therefore it is important for breeding grounds to be destroyed and stagnant water drained.
This week insecticide spraying will be carried out in the Nasinu area.
