Police/LTA to curb road offences in Eastern division

Enforcement authorities will clamp down on offences committed on the highways and major roads in the Eastern division from this month till January next year.

This will be part of Operation “Sa Rauta” and multiple operations will be conducted at spots where a number of serious accidents have occurred.

The Fiji Police Force and the Land Transport Authority have joined hands to control road fatalities which stands at 44 compared to 46 for the same period last year.
