Top scorer in the New South Wales Premier League competition for last year, Matthew Mayora is in Fiji and wants to be the top scorer in the Courts Inter District Championship which kicks off this Thursday at the TFL stadium.
Mayora arrived into the country on Saturday night and was part of Lautoka's training sessions yesterday.
Mayora said heat is a factor but he will be in his best form come the first match.
Another Lautoka import, Billy Darwich who plays defender for the Sydney Olympics with Mayora said Lautoka stand a good chance to lift the prestigious cup this week.
Meanwhile, another Lautoka import James Cronoplis who plays goalkeeper arrives into the country tomorrow.
