The only common link we have is that most SDL members are Methodists who support the SDL party's vision for Fiji and its policies.
This is what Ousted Prime Minister and SDL leader Laisenia Qarase said in response to allegations made by the 16 "i taukei" members of the NCBBF, that he is influencing the Methodist Church to reject the Draft People's Charter.
Qarase said there is no political link between them and the Church.
Qarase said they have no authority to explain why the Methodist Church is opposed to the NCBBF and the People's Charter.
He added the Church leadership has been doing that extremely well since December 2006.
