AG assures delegates of Fiji’s commitment to tackle environmental challenges

Fiji’s Minister For Environment Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum has assured delegates of the 9th Pacific Island Conference on Nature Conservation and Protected Areas this morning of Fiji’s absolute commitment to having a collective voice heard on trying to marshal international action on climate change.
Sayed Khaiyum made the assurance after he assumed the role of Chair of the conference from Papua New Guinea.
He said Fiji is committed to working with delegates to tackle and resolve the great environmental challenges the Pacific faces as we struggle to protect our surroundings.
