A 39-year-old man has passed away following a motor vehicle accident in Sigatoka on Friday.
Police say the victim allegedly lost control of his vehicle while driving towards Olosara, causing it to veer onto the opposite lane and collide with an oncoming vehicle.
Both drivers were rushed to Sigatoka Hospital, where the the 39-year-old man passed away a few hours later.
Police say the driver of the second vehicle remains admitted at Sigatoka Hospital as investigations continue.
