The Samoan Rugby team will be aiming to beat the Vodafone Flying Fijians in the Pacific Nations Cup again this year when the two sides face off in Sacramento on Saturday.
Last year, Samoa edged the Flying Fijians 18-13 at the ANZ Stadium after flyhalf Tusi Pisi kicked six penalties to punish the home side.
Nemani Nadolo and Napolioni Nalaga scored a try each for Fiji but it was not enough to help the home team.
Meanwhile last week, only five players who featured in the historic test against the All Blacks played against USA in their PNC opener.
Head coach Stephen Betham is expected to name a similar solid team that played the All Blacks to face Fiji.
Some of the key players include Tusi Pisi, winger Alesana Tuilagi, flanker Alafoti Faosiliva, Ofisa Treviranus, center Paul Perez and Chiefs center Tim Nanai Williams.
Out of the 50 games the two teams have played, Fiji has won 28, lost 20 and drew twice with Samoa.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians will take on Samoa at 12pm Saturday at Bonney Field, Sacramento.
