Highlanders coach Jamie Joseph has made six changes from the team which beat the Chiefs last week for tonight's game against the Hurricanes.
Fiji born winger Patrick Osborne has been rested due to a calf injury.
Aaron Smith and Malakai Fekitoa have also been rested as part of an agreement with the All Blacks coaches.
Waisake Naholo has been cleared to play after having the flu early this week.
The Highlanders will host the Hurricanes at 7.35 tonight while the Western Force takes on the Brumbies at 11pm.
