The Fijiana 7s team defeated Wales 29-7 to win their second pool match in the Commonwealth Women's 7s competition.
Fijiana led Wales 19-0 at halftime.
Fiji scored a total of five tries.
Halfback Lavinia Tinai scored 3 tries for Fiji while other tries came from Viniana Riwai, and Ana Raimasi.
Fiji will now face Australia in their final pool match at 9:21pm tomorrow.
The women's gold semifinals will kick off at 12:59pm Sunday while the gold final will be played at 4:42pm this Sunday.
