The Fiji Mens Hockey team will be travelling to Dhaka, Bangladesh to play in Round 2 of the Federation of International Hockey League that will be held from the 4th to the 12th of March.
Team’s coach Hector Smith Senior says they are not going just to make numbers but to give their top performance in all the games.
Smith says all teams are ranked better than Fiji and it will be a tough task for them.
He says they are also using this competition to better their commonwealth rankings in order to qualify for next year’s Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Fiji’s opponents at the Round 2 of the FIH League will be Canada, China, Egypt, Oman, Bangladesh, Ghana and Sri Lanka.
