A Heavy Rain Alert remains in force for Fiji as a slow-moving trough of low pressure continues to affect the country.
The Nadi Weather Office says the system is expected to affect the country until later tomorrow, bringing periods of heavy rain.
They say a northwest to northeast wind flow currently prevails over Fiji, contributing to the weather conditions.
People are urged to remain alert, especially those living in low-lying and flood-prone areas, as continuous rain may lead to flash flooding, waterlogged roads and reduced visibility.
