A man in his 20s has died allegedly from burns sustained in a fire while working on a yacht in Nadi.
The victim was conducting maintenance work on a yacht in Denarau yesterday with a fellow 24-year-old worker, when it is alleged the engine compartment exploded, and as a result, the two sustained burns.
Police say the two were rushed to the Nadi Hospital and later transferred to the Lautoka Aspen Hospital, where the victim passed away last night.
The 24-year-old victim remains admitted in critical condition.
