Twenty-four horses have been confirmed for tomorrow's Melbourne Cup.
Several horses were ruled out during the week including Ispolini and Red Galileo from the Godolphin stable, 2018 Melbourne Cup runner-up Marmelo and this year’s Australian Derby winner Angel of Truth were also ruled out.
Constantinople who is the favourite is hoping to become the first horse to win back-to-back Melbourne Cups since Makybe Diva who won the title in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
The race that stops the nation, the Melbourne Cup will be held at 5pm at the Flemington Racecourse in Australia.
