The Fiji Airways Men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 7s team has topped pool C and will face Scotland in the Commonwealth Games gold quarter final after beating Wales 38-24 in Birmingham.

The Fiji 7s team led 26-7 in the first spell with Filipe Sauturaga crossing the line after 30 seconds of their game against Wales.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Vuiviawa Naduvalo scored a double with Sauturaga while Waisea Nacuqu and Kaminieli Rasaku scored a try each to seal the win.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Wales came hard in the second half but Kaminieli Rasaku scored the last try.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Fiji thrashed Zambia 52-0 in their first game and beat Canada 19-12 in their second match.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In other results Uganda thrashed Jamaica 40-0, Australia defeated Kenya 7-5, Samoa thrashed Sri Lanka 44-0, Tonga beat Malaysia 31-7, South Africa defeated Scotland 34-0 and Canada beat Zambia 24-12.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
