Alfreda Fisher shines as Drua prepare for first home clash

McDonald's Fiji Women's Drua loose forward Alfreda Fisher has emerged as the leading tackler in the Super Rugby Women's Competition following her outstanding performance against the Waratahs in round one.

The Navy officer delivered an impressive all-round display, making a significant impact across the field during her 73-minute stint and proving instrumental to the Drua's efforts.

Hailing from Taveuni, Fisher showcased the experience and quality she has gained through numerous international appearances for the Fijiana national team in both the 15s and 7s formats.

Her strong performance has further added value to the squad as the Drua prepare for their first home match of the season.

The Drua players are calling on fans to come out in support ahead of this weekend's clash against the Western Force at Churchill Park in Lautoka at 2pm Saturday.
