Simon Cowell donates US $2.6M to charities amid the Covid-19 pandemic

Simon Cowell has donated US $2.6 million to charities amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The music mogul has revealed that he and his team at Syco are giving $1.6 million to be split between Feeding Britain and Feeding America and he is also taking on $1 million of the deficit faced by Shooting Star Children's Hospices after fundraising was impacted by the coronavirus.

He is urging other business leaders to donate too.
