Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is all set to make his comeback to the big screen with his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par.
While the film's trailer was initially set for a grand launch this week, it has now been postponed.
Hindustan Times reports that sources close to the industry revealed that the decision was made as a gesture of respect for the lives lost in the Pahalgam terror attack.
They say Aamir Khan and his team felt it would be inappropriate to proceed with the launch at this time.
Sitaare Zameen Par is a sequel to Khan's 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, and it follows the transformative journey of a man who, through his interactions with children who perceive the world differently, is compelled to confront his own shortcomings.
Darsheel Safary and Genelia D'Souza will also play pivotal roles in the film.
A new release date for the trailer will be announced later, and the film is scheduled for release in December this year.
