Monitoring of the use of unauthorized govt vehicles to continue

Police and military will continue to monitor the use of unauthorized government vehicles after hours in the weekends.
Deputy Director Abdul Khan confirmed the nine government vehicles that were seized last weekend are still in police custody and investigations continue.
Public Service Commission permanent secretary Parmesh Chand said they have received the report and recommendations from the Finance Ministry’s vehicle control unit.
Chand said they are in the process of looking into what action to take where it is warranted.
Chand also confirmed that the joint operation between the military and police has been the usual practice which will be ongoing.
