Religious leader warned for preaching against other churches

Police have warned a religious leader of Votualevu Nadi for preaching against other churches and for allegedly making racist comments.

Police Media Officer West, Wame Boutolu said officers from the Namaka Police Station also warned the church leader in regards to the use of loud speakers while conducting services.

He said the church group has been clearly told to keep the volume of the speaker low.

According to Boutolu the church leader has been warned that the permit for all the gatherings will be cancelled if he does not adhere to the rules set by the Police.
