Fifty five Police Community Posts in the country are expected to be installed with high speed internet service soon.
Telecom Fiji Limited General Manager Corporate Service and Company Secretary Samuela Vadei said this will enhance the link between the police and the community in terms of sharing information which also includes video conferencing.
He said this will also assist the people in the community to have access to the internet service.
He said once the service is available it will be free of charge for the first six months.
This is a joined project between the TFL and the Fiji Police Force.
