Woman in custody for allegedly stabbing partner

A 20 year old woman is now in police custody after allegedly stabbing her 29 year old partner at a drinking party this morning at Cunningham.

According to police the alleged stabbing occurred over a disagreement with the 29 year old victim now reported to be in a stable condition at the CWM hospital.

Police are therefore urging people to be more cautious especially during drinking parties as most assault cases that occur during this festive season are often alcohol related.
