Ba wins 19th League title

It is now official.

The Ba soccer team has won its 19th National League title.

This is after Suva lost to Rewa 3-1 in the National Football League match last night.

Iosefo Verevou scored twice and Valerio Nawatu scored the crucial goal for Rewa in the dying moments.

The race is now on for the 2nd spot on the National League table which will determine the second team to qualify for the OFC Champions League with the Men-in-Black.

Suva, Lautoka and Nadi have a chance of finishing second on the National League table.

Suva which has 34 points needs to beat Lautoka this Sunday to qualify however Lautoka which has 29 points needs to win against Suva and Ba next week.

Nadi also has 34 points and need to defeat Ba this Sunday at Govind Park and hope the Suva and Lautoka match ends in a draw.
