Although the common name for all the citizens of the country is Fijian, the National Federation Party believes the government is wrong in using the name Fijian for all as NFP said it should be discussed by parliament.
President Raman Pratap Singh said the name Fijian for all citizens should go through consultation with the people through parliament.
Singh said they reject the 2013 constitution and they are trying to get the attention of the government through various means on some amendments to be made prior to 31st December.
When questioned on whether they will contest the 2014 elections, Singh said they are still looking into it.
He said the party does not have a leader but he is currently leading the party as President.
