The Consumer Council of Fiji has so far received 211 complaints against an online boutique which failed to deliver items to customers who already had paid for it.
CEO Premila Kumar said the monetary value of these 211 complaints totals up to $75,903.
Kumar said through mediation, the Council managed to assist 10 consumers to get their money back which was around $5,161.
She said the matter is now before the Court as all efforts to resolve the complaints regarding the online boutique through mediation has failed.
Kumar said Fiji Commerce Commission has proceeded to charge the online boutique for breaches under the Commerce Commission Decree 2010.
