Former national rugby speedster Marika Vunibaka believes his Lomaiviti Barbarians team mate Benito Eremasi needs some more time before being unleashed at the world stage.
The former Crusaders winger spotted Eremasi during a ten's tournament at Raiwai and asked him to join the Lomaiviti rugby team.
23 year old Eremasi dazzled the crowd during the Bure 7s last Saturday with his burning speed and deceptive foot works while playing for the Lomaiviti Babas.
Vunibaka said Eremasi has what it takes to be our next national 7s team x-factor but he needs more time.
Vunibaka added that Eremasi reminds him of himself when he was young.
Eremasi was playing hooker for Lomaiviti during the Coral Coast 7s last month.
Eremasi, Timoci Vunimoku and Manasa Nayagi are some players to look out for in the Lomaiviti side in the upcoming tournaments.
Lomaiviti Babas will be playing at the Tiqavia Vancouver 7s next month in Tailevu.
