Police are calling on parents to be more vigilant during this two week school break.
Chief Operations Officer, Assistant Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said this is after children were recently involved in drowning cases.
Tudravu said Police will be around monitoring student movements during this holiday to ensure their safety and also ensure they don't get caught on the wrong side of the law.
Tudravu added that working parents should ensure their children are left in the care of a responsible adult at all times.
