The Health Ministry said it is looking into various issues concerning the delivery of health services around the country.
Fijivillage highlighted some issues to the ministry where people had raised concern about the shortage of medicine, and a few medical staff trying to attend to patients.
Some concerns were raised a few weeks ago that a doctor and two nurses were managing more than 40 patients on a Sunday morning at the Nausori Health Center.
The complaint highlighted that a doctor and two nurses were trying hard to cope with the work and there were some emergency cases and people had to wait for a long period of time to be seen.
Cases were also highlighted by people from a number of areas during the public consultations by the Yash Ghai Commission that they were not getting some medicine at health centers and hospitals.
People from Ba, Lautoka and the Yasawas said they did not have money to buy medicine and this is a major concern that they want addressed.
When questioned, Health Minister Dr Neil Sharma said people need to understand they are doing their best.
He added people can also go to the private medical sector.
