Village undergoes a $0.4m upgrade

27 village homes of Yaro on Malolo Island will under-go renovations using a $0.4 million loan approved by the Housing Authority.

The loan application by the Mataqali Ketenamasi was made under the Village Housing Scheme and will also cover renovations of the village church.

Payments for the loan will be made twice a year and facilitated by the i Taukei Land Trust Board that will make installment payment to Housing Authority by using lease money of the Mataqali.
