History can be created in this year’s Coca Cola Games if Vilisoni Rarasea of Marist Bothers High School and his twin sister Elenoa Sailosi of Adi Cakobau School win gold in the senior boys and girls 100m respectively.
Sailosi claimed gold in the Triple N Zone for ACS in the 100m with a time of 11.15 seconds while her twin brother Rarasea won the blue ribbon for Marist in the Suva Zone Two with a time of 10.65 seconds.
Rarasea said he still has a lot to improve on before the Coca Cola Games.
Sailosi’s dream of becoming the girls 100m champion was dashed last year after suffering a hamstring injury prior to the national finals but she is aiming for a good turnaround this year.
The games torch is expected to be at Ra High School this hour.
The Coca Cola Games starts this Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
